Granite State Elite Girls Lacrosse
The 2nd Annual Stephen M Parnell Memorial Alumni Game
On December 30th some of the GSE Alumni joined forces at the Hampshire Dome to play in an exhibition game whose proceeds went to the JDRF in memory of Stephen M Parnell, beloved father of two GSE players, coach, and lacrosse volunteer. After team practice at the Hampshire Dome the players met with the GSE alumni to ask questions about college recruiting and what it takes to play college lacrosse. They were then treated to a competitive and fun game. Some of the 2008 GSE graduates joined in the play and announced where they will be playing next year. All of the 2008 graduates have been recruited to play college lacrosse and finished as one of the top teams in the country. GSE has grown to over 400 participants with travel team member’s grades 5-11 and GSE Academy player’s grades 1-12. GSE now includes a travel field hockey team and field hockey academy.
